The Price Family

Yesterday, after church we went on a little trip to Independence, Mo. We went to the visitors center first and took a tour. They went over the plan of salvation and then some church history. Its so cool to be out here near all the church history sites. What was way awesome, the sister missionary that gave us the tour is Dave and Pat Hansen's niece it was way exciting. She was so nice, and had the most wonderful testimony.


Following the Tour of the LDS Visitors center, we went over to the Community of Christ visitors center. It was unfortunately closed due to it being Sunday. There visitor center is cool it looks like a dome building, kinda like the Dee Events Center up at Weber State.


This is the Community of Christ Temple, its a pretty interesting building. Peter a friend we went with said it looked like a giant sea shell. It really does, it not like any other building I've seen before.

The ground where the Prophet stood to dedicate
the temple lot is now owned by the Church of
Christ (Temple Lot), or Hedrickites. Other portions
of the original temple lot are owned by the LDS
and RLDS faiths."
